this looks a bit odd

uint8_t *streaminfo = c->streaminfo ? c->streaminfo :
                                          s->streams[0]->codecpar->extradata;
...

isnt this just "&& c->streaminfo" ?

also is s->streams[0] correct ?
shouldnt this use c->audio_stream_idx ?
