You should also ensure the amount of channels is sane (Atrac3 seems to
be 8 channels max, so limit it to that). Otherwise the block_align line
below can overflow.

You need to check this better, otherwise you could get overflow later in
2048 * st->codecpar->channels (not to mention that the value won't fit
into 16 bits) or when calculating block_align. Because of this
overflow/truncation, block_align might be zero and you divide by it.

Why are you using st->codecpar and not par here and in the following?
